Life is Short - Don't Waste It!

Unbelievably, he was denied parole. I did not attend the hearing. I did write a letter - a two page letter with about 1/2 inch of attachments which included his arrest record, the list of DVP's filed against him by four different women including his own mother, and copies of the emails he sent to me and a transcripted (is that a word?) version of the emails to make it easier to read them. Apparently, it is practically unheard of for someone on work release to be denied parole. Yay for us!!!! I cannot tell you how relieved I was when I called and they told me he was denied. He has so far not called to request visitation again. I have not filed anything yet because I still don't have the money to hire an attorney but I'm hoping by mid sept. Had to spend about $1200 on the vehicles to keep them running and have to pay back a $1500 loan by sept 1. It seems like no matter how much money we make, we cannot get ahead because something always happens. I'm hoping that changes.

glad he was denied!
Glad he was denied too! Sorry about the money stuff! We know how that is.. ugh!
transcripted (is that a word?)
I think transcribed is the word you're looking for. ;-)
Glad to hear that the justice system is working, though!
Hang in there on the money hits. I have been so paranoid about stuff breaking down that it's hard for me to spend much of anything other than paying bills and providing for the kids.

I know that feeling of just when you get money saved up something important needs it. Gah! That's why I started doing PartyLite, just to at least get some extra cash in there for groceries and gas. And yay that he was denied! That makes me feel very happy inside for you!
Yay! Just stopping by to catch up. I'm glad to hear he was denied.
Well that's good news at least. Sorry about the money probs. I have no job currently and that's been a big issue around here too.
